Today is International Women's Day.
And as such it would be totally remiss of us not to acknowledge the issues and inequalities still facing many women today whether in the workplace, home, socially and more.
But today we want to celebrate women. And in particular the women of The Escape. The creative, technical and digital sector has for years been dominated by men. In fact, when we started some (nearly) 25 years ago we were 95% men and it's fair to say it's taken a good few years to get to a positive gender split based on talent and equality.
Well, as of now we stand at 58% women across the agency and 40% women who have a seat at the table in our management team. That's women in creative, digital, UX/UI, client services, finance roles and more. And we couldn't be prouder.
So we asked our Escapees to tell us in one sentence what they love about their role and working at The Escape.
