Ready to grow?
The best brands don’t just get noticed. They get felt. Let’s build yours.
If you’re an ambitious brand that shares our passion for building emotional and meaningful connections with customers and colleagues, let’s talk.
The brief
A home is never just a building. It’s a feeling. A sense of belonging, of connection, of comfort in knowing you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
For Bargate, that belief has always been at the heart of what they do. A housebuilder defined by building better, not bigger. Yet they operate in a market shaped by scepticism, where new build homes are often perceived as generic and lacking character.
This presented a unique challenge as we explored their new identity; how do you stand apart in a category where buyers already think they know what you are?
Blending heritage with modern thinking
Our starting point was simple. Bargate didn’t need to become something different, they needed to express what already made them distinctive.
Bargate already built places where people feel at home, where craftsmanship and attention to detail create something lasting. But their brand wasn’t fully expressing that feeling, or inviting people into it.
We developed a brand rooted in belonging; one that balances heritage with a more progressive, design-led future, while placing people and community at its centre. This came to life through a refined identity, more human and considered messaging, and a website designed not just to inform, but to connect.
A brand to belong
The impact was immediate. Branded clicks increased by 30%, alongside a 10.9% uplift in new home enquiries. This is a brand resonating deeper, attracting people who don’t just want a house, but a place to belong.
Today, Bargate is better positioned than ever to grow. Building communities, not just developments, and creating homes people feel proud to be part of.
