A little bit about the project
Working with big established brands is always great, but every now and then it's exciting to get involved with a new start-up and help them shape their business, or in this case, provide them with the platform to 'do' their business.
RightBag were literally starting from a blank screen of pixels. This new e-commerce venture specialises in supplying bags, cases and covers for women looking for that something a little bit different or special to protect their laptop, iPad, iPhone or Kindle.
We started by laying ourselves a solid foundation... getting the brand right for the people we need to sell to. Next up, how we translate this on-line. Focussing on busy working women, many of whom have to balance a family with the rigours of 'the day job', a pin-board as the header provided us with the 'RightPlace' (see what we did there?) to suggest this work-life balance and the many things to stay on top of. Call-to-actions (CTAs) promoting new lines, holiday bags, stuff for students and lots more ensure signposting is clear and not to be missed. Throughout the site we used small features like stitching and a leather effect to break up structure, sections and content, yet it all ensures everything ties back to the overall theme of bags and cases. So, if your old laptop bag is showing signs of one too many trips on a train (or the like)... surely it's time you treated yourself? We happen to know a good site where you can get one too.
