A little bit about the project

We really like all our projects but exhibitions give you the chance to combine ideas with structure, so something quite different and exciting from the norm. Our friends at KONE had booked some floor space at Total Workplace Management 2011, a show with an eco-based topic so our challenge was to come up with an approach that addressed eco-issues and got to the heart of the facilities management 'problems' FM managers face.

Our 'big idea' was to offer visitors to the stand the opportunity to step into the 'KONE clinic', a place where KONE will diagnose your problems and suggest ways in which a cure can be found through innovative energy saving escalator and lift products, or changes to the way current escalators and lifts are used. The use of 3 'consultation areas' provided each KONE expert with an area to demonstrate their wares and write a 'prescription' for a follow-up meeting. The stand was designed to look white, clean and clinical, with a relaxed, eco-friendly hand drawn style for the graphics and messaging. A window illustration provided a view into the 'KONE world' of People Flow and each delegate that visited the clinic also got to leave with a First Aid kit promotional item... not to mention the promise of having the carbon usage of their building reduced by 70%.
