A little bit about the project
This project is like our annual treat. Last year we were given a blank canvas brief along the lines of "we want it to be colourful, vibrant, interesting and informative... do your worst" and we're pleased to say that this year's was not much different. Our only two main points of consideration were some continuity with last year's report and an influence of '10' - it being the 10th anniversary of EuroGeographics.
Not needing too much more of a green light to get going (other than yet more great copy from the very talented copywriter Rhian French), we set about the challenge of topping last year's, no mean feat bearing in mind both us and the client were extremely pleased with it. But as ever, where there's a will there's a way and yet again we managed to create a very visually engaging, colourful, 'can't put it down' annual report. It has all the mapping references you would expect plus a feeling of perspective through the use of an angled geographic grid. Biased we know, but based on the 10 theme... we like to think we got full marks.
