A little bit about the project
Hampshire County Council wanted to launch an initiative to encourage drivers to stick to a 30mph speed limit when driving through villages. Thankfully the lovely people at HCC knew where to go to get it done properly... so much so we've won awards for it (thank you, thank you...).
Our research (before we even picked up a pen) showed that there was an 'it won't happen to me' attitude, and if we tried to tell people how to drive, they'd take no notice. So the campaign message (and subsequently the branding) became all about asking drivers to Choose 30mph and think about the implications if they don't.
