A little bit about the project

Here at The Escape, we like to give a little back every now and then. This year we volunteered our skills to the charity Breast Cancer Care. A cause very close to the hearts of a number of Escapees.

Our 'charitable donation' started with the 2011 Fashion Show, one of their largest annual fundraising events. Intent on making it the best ever from both a creative and event perspective, we set about our layout pads, ferociously playing with ideas on how we could use the one invitation to address both the Afternoon and Evening Shows. Ideas nailed and presented, we set about bringing it to life, creating a look and feel using icons that could easily translate, adapt and work for each item required for the show. The culmination of our collective hard work took shape on Wednesday 5 October and raised £120,000 for the charity. Next stop... the Christmas Carol Service!
