There's a new kid in town!... well... sat at the end of the studio. He's hit the ground running at the Farmhouse, knee deep in projects, quickly picking up on our crazy ways and who in the team 'doesn't' make enough tea (mentioning no names eh JP?).
So without further a-do... here's ten questions that enables you to...
As ‘our Cilla’ would say… what’s your name and where do you come from?
My name is Pawel, I live in South West London. I am Polish. I arrived in England in 2005 as a history teacher and now I am a web developer.
What do you do at The Escape?
I do housekeeping and maintenance. I clean here and there. Move some furniture around if necessary. Ha ha... obviously we’re talking web development. Back-end, front-end coding, building, designing, fixing, optimising and deploying web applications.
What do you get up to out of work?
I spend most of time with my two little kids. I like to learn more coding stuff whenever I can. I always carry around a couple of new books on various programming subjects that I am going through.
What’s your favourite colour?
Definitely blue. All ranges.
If you were stuck on a desert island, what 3 items would you want with you?
Smartphone, so I could call people and check the latest news… but seriously a knife, fork and spoon to remain civilised.
What type of music are you into and who would you choose to watch live in concert?
I like various artists. I used to listen to 90's alternative rock/grunge. But these days it’s mainly electronic music while coding. Would like to go to the opera one day.
If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would do?
Probably would try to make a few other people happy too.
If you had to choose one place to go on holiday for the rest of your life, where would you choose?
Probably Australia. Somewhere nice, sunny and on the seaside.
What’s your favourite food?
I love Thai food. I really like oriental soups, noodles and prawns.
Tell us something completely random we wouldn’t know about you:
I am a qualified History Teacher. I like fishing. I used to play guitar, believing one day I will become professional musician!
