Believe it or not, we've just done this. We know what you're thinking, and yes, it's a tough job but someones got to do it.
About 18 months ago we were delighted to launch a brand new, fully responsive website for the opening of the Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Laverstoke, Hampshire. So, 18 months on and with over 60,000 visitors to the Distillery it was time to strategically review the website inline with the Distillery's plans to increase revenue and visitor numbers. This, amongst other things included showcasing the Distillery's offering as a premium venue for hire along with increasing the sales through the onsite and online shop. Throughout this review we also took the opportunity to refresh the visual aspect of the site as well, introducing new imagery and brand assets.
So, in a nutshell, that’s exactly what we've been doing over the last few months. Working closely with the team over at the Distillery, the website now features a glorious 'Cocktails' section, featuring video tutorials (which we shot, art directed and edited) with the Global Brand Ambassador; Sam Carter along with recipes, ingredients and downloadable cocktail cards. Check it out.. We'd be surprised if you don't go away feeling rather thirsty.
The updated site also features a brand new 'Venue Hire' section to showcase the many different rooms and venues that are available to hire throughout the Distillery. Thinking of hosting a party? Then why not pick the Distillery as the venue. Each page on the site features details on the capacity of each space along with an image carousel to show the venues in full swing.
We also took the opportunity during the website update to revisit key components of the user experience and their journey from A to B throughout the site. The result of all of this? A refreshed, clean, modern responsive website with an easy and intuitive user journey and even more engaging content to really wet the appetite of visitors.
