We've been very fortunate to work with Sentinel Housing for many years. As the case study on our website suggests, there's many communications projects we have been involved with over that time.
We got asked the question this year whether it was even possible for us to come up with something 'new' and 'different' after the successes of 2013 and 2014.
They really should know us better than that eh?!
And so we rose to the challenge (again). Invited to tender new concepts, we took the bull by the horns and set about 'wow-ing' Sentinel like never before.
The 2014 AR was taken online whereas the brief this year was to create a printed piece with true wow-factor and sex appeal. A piece Mark, the Chief Exec, could hold and covet and be eternally proud that it represented his association.
We pitched 3 concepts, the winning (from our 3 and 3 other agencies!) was an oversized, bespoke piece with slip case, blue foil and soft-touch laminate, all wrapped around the concept 'in the picture'.
Our creative vision (and reality) was to use a double-exposure approach so the lifestyle images were embedded into the people images. The entire graphic style showcased both the people 'and' the places. The title and concept 'in the picture' obviously related directly to the visual style and the need to 'put people in the picture' about what Sentinel had been up to throughout 2014/15.
We managed everything from the photography, design, printing and delivery. Very much a 'warts and all' service from yours truly.
We like to think it's the best we've created yet, but we say that every year.
We do prefer it when our customers do our talking for us and the feedback we had from Sentinel went something like this...
"happy does not begin to explain how I feel. They look amazing even better than we imagined and we’ve had loads of really positive feedback"
