Ian Mumford
I've sat here and thought about the best way to explain who I am. How to express my passion for all things creative. How I love to get 'under the skin' of the product or service in question until I 'know it' as well or better than the client. How to stress my belief that ideas are individual, like each new brief, and how I put words before pictures so I know that if the concept works, the images will follow. How I thrive on inspiring other people and how other people inspire me.
What's the best way to put into words the attention to detail I pride myself on, the analytical creative thought process that makes me, me. How to tell you the excitement I feel after a presentation when I can truly say to myself, we answered the brief and they loved it.
How can I help you understand the value I place on creativity?
A great man once commented on my other great passion in life, and I feel his words... slightly tailored... sum up my feelings.
"Some people believe creativity is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that".
