Client brief

Create a product website to improve brand awareness, and communicate and reinforce the marketing message to a wider audience above and beyond traditional media. This product website was built to a tight deadline (three weeks) to support a promotion at a European event.

Web design and build

The website design uses a clear navigation and simple call-to-actions to help drive traffic. The client's diagrams and imagery are integrated as a key feature of the home page design as a clear point of reference. Video content was added for an engaging and interactive experience on what may deemed a static product.

The content on this product website is optimised for search engine profile and a Wordpress platform integration to the website allows for client-managed news additions and event updates. The news section delivers an RSS news feed that allows Intersurgical to push news to prospective customers and online news channels.

Result

The client has a website design that is more aligned with their brand. Part content-management has been achieved with the Wordpress integration, allowing updates of news, events and PDF data sheets. Google Analytics has also been implemented to measure traffic trends.

This optimised and specific product website should deliver quality, focused traffic with clear call-to-actions to drive enquiries. Visitor engagement is achieved through relevant content (including the videos) and varied methods for communication, from enquiries, to news feeds to upcoming event annoucnements. This encourages genuine interaction and filters through a warmer sales lead.

We are really pleased with the results that we are seeing from the new website. The site has been live for just over a month and we have already had over 60 people signing up for news updates - this is valuable data and allows us to create a dialogue with potential customers and start to build an ongoing relationship with them.
