Campaign Branding - Pass Plus

- Client:
- Hampshire County Council
- Project:
- Pass Plus campaign branding
Brief
Our brief was to produce an identity and collateral to raise awareness of Pass Plus with young drivers in Hampshire, aged between 17-24 yrs, using a relevant campaign brand.
Creative approach
As an approved supplier to Hampshire County Council our first task was to develop a proposed creative route for the campaign. So, we sent one of our young designers on the Pass Plus course. This gave us a real understanding of what a new driver could expect from the scheme.
Outcome
After the chosen concept had been approved we adapted the style to fit a number of deliverables for the campaign including flyers, brochures, folders and vehicle livery. The road safety team launched Pass Plus in Spring 2007 as part of its young driver programme.
This was Road Safety's first project with the Escape, which was to help tackle an increasing number of casualties of young drivers between 17-24 years old in Hampshire.
We were presented with three concepts, one of which immediately caught our imagination. Working closely with a Road Safety Officer, this project developed quickly and went on to launch with support of the Driving Standards Agency and local driving instructors.
Our experience with the Escape has been a professional, focused partnership, which delivered the project on time and to budget.
